Dan Hill, Ph.D., is an internationally recognized expert on the role of emotions in business, politics, sports, and popular culture. Dan pioneered the use of facial coding in business to capture and quantify emotional responses, and his company, Sensory Logic, has done market research work for over 50% of the world’s top 100 B2C companies over the past 20+ years in addition to being the recipient of seven U.S. patents. Dan’s business book Emotionomics was chosen by Advertising Age as one of the top 10 must-read books of 2009. Besides having been a political pundit for CNN, Fox, MSNBC, and Reuters, Dan has also made appearances on ABC’s “Good Morning, America” and NBC’s “The Today Show” and received front-page coverage in The New York Times for his work in pro sports.
