Bob Pessemier, joins Dr. John for an up to date briefing on the coronavirus (COVID-19) along with tips on how to take care of yourself and your loved ones during the pandemic. Bob was Lieutenant in the fire department in Washington and holds a M.A. in Emergency and Disaster Management, having trained first responders in disaster preparedness for several years. Following the update, Bob and Dr. John revisit his firefighting days, his rise and fall from multimillionaire to bankruptcy, and playing catcher at the tender age of 64.
Bob Pessemier Bio
Bob worked his way up to Lieutenant in the Kent, WA fire department. He holds a Master’s in Emergency and Disaster Management. He received a decoration for rescuing a man out of a car that was upside down and underwater in a moving river. He has authored two books and authored a blog section for Emergency Management magazine Bob has been interviewed on CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, among others. Bob was in a Warren Miller movie in 1975. Sixteen people held hands and did a backflip on skis (and stuck the landing!). He has raced sailboats around Puget Sound for over 30 years. Bob lives in the greater Seattle area.
