As a child, Jeffrey Davis became focused on paying attention to life and ensuring that he’d always maintain a connection to his imagination which led him to become a poet, a teacher, an author and then…his life collapsed. As with most men, he’d been living entirely “from the neck up,” largely disconnected from his heart. That awakening launched a lifelong quest to rediscover a deeper, more soulful motivator. It brought him back to wonder as a driving force in his life and eventually as his career.

Jeffrey has since helped thousands of people advance their best, most meaningful ideas into businesses, brands, and books. He writes for Psychology Today and others on the intersections among creativity, work, and human flourishing.

He’s author of the books Tracking Wonder, The Journey from the Center to the Page and others.

In this episode, discover…

Why you should care about wonder (and other positive emotions).

Why wonder is “a quiet disruptor of biases.”

How wonder fuels creativity and open-mindedness.

What fuels true spiritual and psychological growth. Is it a radical shattering of one’s framework? Is it wonder and awe? Or perhaps both?

The 6 components of wonder.

How to put forth conditions in our daily life so we can experience wonder more frequently.
